Physiotherapy in Sheffield.

Geo Therapy is a private physiotherapy clinic in Sheffield, run by HCPC-registered physiotherapist George Leatherland. Hands-on treatment, structured rehab, and chronic pain support. Duke Street, S2.

That's the official version.

The real version: this is where you come when you want a proper assessment, a clear explanation, and a plan that's actually built around your body. Not a 20-minute rub. Not a generic exercise sheet. A real piece of work.

01The session

What happens.

The conversation

What's going on. When it started. What makes it worse. What you've tried. What scans say. What you're scared of. What you actually want back.

The assessment

Movement, strength, sensitivity, what your body responds to. We work out where the issue actually sits.

The treatment

Hands-on work. Soft tissue, joint mobilisation, dry needling, mobility work. Whatever your body needs that day.

The plan

A rehab programme. Specific exercises. Tempo, sets, reps. A "WHY IT'S HERE" line for every exercise so you know what each one is doing. Not a leaflet. An actual plan.

The follow-up

We progress it. We adjust it. We discharge you when you're sorted, not before.

02Who books

A mix of bodies.

  • Anyone with a specific injury (gym, sport, work, life)
  • People with ongoing pain that hasn't settled
  • People with a scan they don't really understand
  • Runners, lifters, athletes coming back from injury
  • People who've been dismissed elsewhere
  • Post-surgery rehab
  • Desk workers, parents, tradespeople whose body has stopped tolerating things
03How many sessions

Honest expectations.

Simple injuries: 2 to 4 sessions.

Persistent or complex stuff: longer, often spaced out.

You'll know after session one what we're realistically looking at. No drip-feeding.

FAQ Stuff people ask

Common questions.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. Book directly without a referral or scan.

Are you HCPC registered?

Yes. Registration details available on request and on the about page.

Can you treat my insurance claim?

Depends on the insurer. Get in touch and we'll check.

What's the difference between physio and sports massage here?

Physio is full assessment, treatment, plan. Sports massage is targeted soft tissue work, no formal rehab plan.
