01 Who walks in

You're probably here because something isn't right.

Maybe it started with a specific moment. Maybe it crept in over months. Maybe you've had it for years and nothing has properly shifted it.

  • Back pain that won't go
  • Sciatica down the leg
  • Stiff necks and shoulders
  • Tendons that hate loading
  • Knees that hurt running
  • Calves that keep tearing
  • Pain after surgery
  • Pain after a scan with no clear answer
  • Pain after another physio didn't get to the bottom of it

If you want someone to actually explain what's happening and build a real plan around it, you're in the right place.

02 / RESTORE

Restore

Get the body moving freely again. Confidence in movement.

03 / BUILD

Build

Real strength work. Programmed loading. Where most clinics quit early.

04 / RETURN

Return

Specific to what you want back. Running. Lifting. Sleeping. Living.

04 What's different

Most rehab is half a job.

Most clinics
  • Hands-on, no plan
  • Or a plan, no hands
  • 20-minute rub
  • Generic exercise sheet
  • "Come back next week"
  • "Just rest it"
  • Vague answers
Geo Therapy
  • Hands-on AND a real plan
  • Assessment that actually digs
  • Structured rehab with tempo and reasoning
  • Education that makes sense
  • Discharge when you're sorted, not before
  • Load it properly
  • Clear answers, no waffle

Hands-on without rehab is half the job. We do both halves.

05 A speciality

Stuck in pain that won't shift?

You've probably been told a lot of different things. A scan showed something so you were told to rest. A scan showed nothing so you were told it was nothing. Or you were told to live with it.

None of those are full answers.

Persistent pain is real. Often the tissues are fine, but the system around them has become more sensitive over time. That's not in your head. That's how nerves and brains actually work when pain hangs around long enough.

We turn that sensitivity dial down. We rebuild the body underneath. We give you back the confidence to move.

"The loading felt counterintuitive. Pushing the thing that hurts. But it worked when nothing else had."

James T · Sheffield
★★★★★

"I'd accepted my sciatica was just my life. Turns out I just needed to actually build the strength I'd been missing."

08 Meet George

Hi, I'm George.

I'm a physiotherapist and sports massage therapist. HCPC-registered. I run Geo Therapy from a clinic on Duke Street in Sheffield S2.

What I do is hands-on. I explain things in plain language. I build rehab plans that fit your life. I'm not interested in keeping you coming back forever.

The aim is simple. Get you out of pain. Get you understanding your body. Get you back to what you actually want to be doing.

09 Stuff people ask

Common questions.

Do I need physio or sports massage?

Physio if there's a specific injury, ongoing pain, or you want to understand the root cause. Sports massage if your body just feels tight and you want maintenance with no clear injury.

Can you actually help chronic pain?

Yes. It's one of the things we specialise in. Not with promises. With a proper plan, hands-on work, education, and graded rehab.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. Book directly without a referral or scan.

How many sessions will I need?

Simple stuff: 2 to 4. Persistent stuff: longer, often spaced out. You'll know after the first session what we're realistically looking at.

What should I wear?

Something comfortable you can move in. Shorts and a t-shirt for most things. If we need access to a specific area you'll be told before the session.

How do I book?
